OUR SERVICES

Explore What’s Next professionals offer a wide array of general & specialized services, from individual to group.

PSYCHOTHERAPY

Psychotherapy or counseling, is a talking treatment, where a troubling psychological, behavioral, emotional or relationship issue is effectively addressed through developing a working relationship, and talking with, a qualified licensed professional who has appropriate the education and training.

Therapy can come in different types or modalities. Psycho-educational, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy, supportive, solution focused, trauma-informed, individual, relationship, group… A skilled therapist is a human being who genuinely wants to know what it’s like to be you so that they can help you. We struggle with you to figure out where the obstacles are, how to get around, over or through them, to find the healthy, happy you.

If you or a family member needs a therapy contact us.

“Explore What’s Next therapists know this is a vulnerable time for you. We do not take your respect and trust for granted. We earn them.”

~Dr. Aletta

PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING & ASSESSMENT

Psychological testing is often requested by schools to evaluate a student for support services, by physicians, other professionals, sometimes the patient themselves, to clarify a diagnostic picture and to focus treatment more effectively. Psychological assessment highlights personal strengths and areas of vulnerability, while providing information to improve academic, social, behavioral or daily life functioning. If you or a family member needs a psychological assessment contact us.

“Seeking out a comprehensive psychological assessment can be overwhelming, we provide the guidance and support you need, while offering compassionate answers to difficult questions.”

~Colleen Conjerti

TEENS & YOUNG ADULTS

It is not unusual for teens and twenty-somethings to experience emotional highs and lows as they move through this challenging phase of life. Teens, emerging adults, and their parents all need to be aware of the differences between “normal” moodiness and stress, and what constitutes a mental health issue.

Mental disorders, especially anxiety and depression, impact all aspects of a teen or young adult’s life: appetite, sleep, the ability to focus or concentrate, be creative, and learn new things. Irritability and pushing people away can affect their relationships. Good therapy provides much needed hope.

“Our therapists understand the unique challenges that teens and young adults go through.  We take the time meet you where you’re at, and provide whatever support and tools that you need. Therapy is a place where you can be the expert of your own life, even as you’re still growing and changing.”

~ Christine Frank
