What is the wait time for my appointment at Explore What’s Next?
Five Minutes or less is the typical wait time when you already have an appointment.
At EWN we respect your time as much as we value ours. We pride ourselves on being on time for your scheduled appointment. If for any unanticipated reason we are not able to do so, we will notify you as soon as possible about the delay if it’s more than five minutes.
What is the wait time to see a therapist at EWN for my initial consultation?
The EWN associates by and large are available to schedule your free initial consultation within two-three weeks of your contacting us, sometimes sooner.
What is your therapy approach?
EWN therapists are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, Solution, Supportive, Mindfulness-based, Trauma-informed therapy and more. Beginning with the initial consultation we design a treatment approach that fits you.
Do you take my insurance?
Explore What’s Next is a fee for service practice. While EWN therapists do not take insurance directly, your health insurance contract may have “Out of Network” benefits.
What is an Out-of-Network benefit?
If you are eligible, the Out of Network benefit allows you to receive reimbursement for the cost of treatment from 30-100% after the deductible. If you’d like to use your insurance in this way, our office will take care of all the paperwork and claim submissions for you. Please ask about this service when you call.
What are your hours?
EWN provides hours from:
8:00AM to 8:00PM throughout the week (including Saturdays depending on which therapist/coach you wish to see).
Are our conversations private?
In general, all communications between an adult client and a psychologist are protected by law and are kept in strict confidence. Information about our work together can only be released to others with your written permission.
Although your therapist may request or suggest that you allow communication with specific individuals, such as your physician or other health professional, this is your choice. Your therapist must have written permission before any such communication takes place.
Confidentiality, however, is not absolute. There are several situations in which confidentiality cannot be guaranteed, including, but not limited to, the following:
• You or someone else appears to be in immediate danger
• Reason to suspect child abuse or neglect is occurring
• A court orders the release of information
Email is NOT SECURE – Email is a wonderful communication tool but its use is limited. Because it uses the Internet to move around, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed when using email.

What if I have to cancel an appointment?

• Report writing
